Fullerton, the Nance County seat, is at the heart of the best hunting and agricultural land in Nebraska at the convergence of Highways 14 and 22.  With an active Economic Development Committee and Chamber, we strive toward progress and development. Fullerton offers a technologically advanced and an academic top ten ranked public school, updated city library, two assisted living facilities, a new independent living facility, nursing home and two medical clinics that are the pride of the community.  A beautiful 9-hole grass green golf course and clubhouse is located with scenic views of the Cedar River Valley. A new outdoor recreation facility located on the Cedar River is under construction. It will involve the renovation of the old hydroelectric plant and Five Acre Island in the river. When finished it will provide camping spots, shelter, RV hook-ups, a walking trail and boat ramp.

The Fullerton community has pulled together for two projects. The first is the Pedee Hosler Memorial Track and the Nance County Veterans Memorial (Pic1, Pic2). These projects have been constructed purely by volunteer labor and donations. For more information on the track contact Kurt Pickrel at 308-536-2492 or the Memorial contact DeAnn Epley at 308-536-2134.

Fullerton was presented on the Communities of Distinction national television series hosted by Terry Bradshaw. Communities of Distinction TV takes the viewer in to some of the best little cities, towns, villages and hamlets in North America. The producers travel across the country to those great places not yet known to the masses. This project was made possible in part, through a Nebraska Tourism Commission Impact Grant.
