The Fullerton City Park covers 2 1/2 Acres and contains restrooms, a sand volleyball court, a picnic area and grills. A walking path surrounds the park and has newly installed playground equipment. It is also the site of the annual Twin River Cruisers Car Show in June.

Annual celebrations include the Alumni Reunion held on Memorial weekend, Fourth of July celebration and parade, the Nance County Fair held in July and Old Fashioned Christmas on the first Friday in December.
In June and October of every year, Nebraska Off-Highway Vehicle Association (NOHVA) holds its Jamboree at Head Gates Park, 7 miles east of Fullerton on Highway 22. Thousands of off-road and ATV drivers flock for camping and dune riding on the huge sand hills along the Loup river. See their website for more detailed information.
Summer recreation programs include baseball, softball, swimming, golf, sand volleyball, and tennis.
The Fullerton Area Senior Center has completed renovation and is now located next to the Public Library at 903 Broadway. This new facility will be nearly 3 times larger and will boast a larger new kitchen. Plans are in place to also use the facility as a storm shelter, complete with a backup generator. Many social and educational events are held such as weekly card parties, occasional movies, monthly and quarterly health checks, and other special entertainment. A new bus provides transportation for Fullerton and Genoa area patrons.

Broken Arrow Wilderness Camp, which is privately owned, covers approximately 95 acres. The camp, available to large and small groups on a reservation basis, has a number of buildings and cabins and a complete kitchen. Visitors will find a soothing, relaxing atmosphere amid a peaceful setting of large oak trees. Features include rustic cabins, year-round camping, picnicking, hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing and a look-out site for a panoramic view of "Lovers Leap." The Nance County Museum contains artifacts of the county. Other attractions include the Whispering Cedar Bible Camp, Power House Park, the new Outdoor Track and the new Nance County Veterans Memorial Park.
